Two new combinations for COLOSSUS Logistics
Recently, COLOSSUS Logistics from Wustermark, Germany has taken into service two new 2-axle SL2 low loaders. COLOSSUS Logistics is a family business specialising in the transport of large and heavy transports. As a member of BigMove AG, they have access to additional expertise and a large fleet.
"With the addition of these Broshuis trailers to our fleet, together with our two brand new DAF XG tractors, we now own two true 'Flying Dutchmen'," says Klaus Pietack (director).
"We deliberately chose Broshuis because of their innovative independent suspension system. This results in a very low tare weight and an extremely low loading floor height. During our visit to the Bauma in Munich and a factory tour in Kampen, we were very impressed with the company. From design to execution, we are fully convinced of their consistent quality, workmanship and proven reliability."
The trailers will be used for various transports. "We will mainly transport containers, modules, agricultural machinery, houseboats and tiny houses with them," says Klaus. "With these multifunctional trailers, we can basically transport anything that will fit on them. At our company, we strive for customised transport solutions, so these versatile trailers fit perfectly into our fleet."
The SL2 low loaders from COLOSSUS Logistics are very practical, with a double-extendable design and an extremely low bed of only 380 mm. This makes them ideally suited for transporting large and high loads. "We are happy that we can now experience the excellent quality for ourselves and that we made the right choice with these trailers," says Klaus. "Our drivers are also very satisfied after the first trips. Besides the stable road holding, the trailers' ease of use also stands out. Thanks to the wireless remote control, the trailers are easy and safe to operate."
